Map League is an educational puzzle game designed to enhance geographical knowledge. Players pick and place pieces of countries or states on maps of the world and India. With a timer and real-time leaderboard, it offers a competitive and fun way to learn geography. The game aims to make education interactive and engaging for all ages.
Creating an educational game that balances fun and learning required careful design. The challenge was to make the gameplay intuitive yet challenging enough to encourage learning. Implementing a real-time leaderboard added complexity, as it needed to be accurate and updated instantly, providing a competitive element without overshadowing the educational value.
We created an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for placing countries and states accurately on the maps. Incorporating a timer and real-time leaderboard added a competitive element, motivating players to improve their skills. The dual maps, one for India and one for the world, provide variety and depth to the learning experience.
